What color should I streak it with?

I have dark brown hair, a little past my shoulders, very straight, and thin. I am very pale, VERY short, and have hazel eyes. I wanted to do something funky, like streak it with different colors (unnatural etc. electric blue, red, purple,) but I don't know which color! I was leaning towards blue, then maybe red. How long until it fades? Do you think it would look good on me?
