Question about self tanning lotions?

my face wont tan because of this acne medication I'm using and I have tan lines which bother me to no end. What's the best type of tanning lotion that honestly will give me a natural tan look and won't leave me looking orange with streaks and weird spotting? Also is it better to use bronzers? I'm just looking for something that works and won't leave me stained and doesn't look funny when it fades.
