I need to plan a trip but i would prefer to go by car as little as possible. flights, dog sledding, anything!?

I live in Wilmington North Carolina. I need to find some way to get to Fort Providence Canada. Its a small town. I cant take a flight to the "airport" that is there so think I'm gonna take some form of alternate route. I'm horrible at planning these things and i need to make a visit to someone. please help me. thank you.
