How do I get temporary color out of my hair?

So last night at my friends house I put a purple streak in my hair that is supposed to last for like 6 weeks I think. It's in the front on the middle layer and it's small but you can still see it. The problem is I just realized we're leaving in 2 hours to go to new york for a week because we have to go to 2 viewings and a mass for my uncle who just died and I don't want to look trashy. How can I get it out today or at least hide it somehow? Tips would be appreciated. Thankyou =]
